Sorry for the long absence! March has been a bit of a whirlwind and I’m just getting some time to get my head space back in order and back to writing. It’s true what they say; when you take too long of a break from something, it’s much harder with each passing day to get back into the swing of things.
In other news, I can’t believe we’re already in the month of April. And I couldn’t be happier! (Seriously. Does anyone else feel like time is just whizzing by?) Not only is April my birthday month-woot, woot!- but it’s also Financial Literacy Month. I’m looking forward to writing a few blog posts focusing primarily on financial education. Stay tuned for that!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Here are two articles that I have read recently and enjoyed and hope you enjoy as well. Thanks for reading!
Although it seems as if I just came back from my Mardi Gras trip in New Orleans, the travel bug has hit me and I am ready to get back on a plane and jet off to a new adventure. Luckily, that will happen sooner rather than later with my trip to Puerto Rico later this month. While planning, I was trying to figure out the best type of accommodations to book. Ultimately, I went the route of a typical hotel but this article breaks down the good and bad of hostels, vacation rentals and hotels.
I’ve always been a bookworm since I can remember. My genre of choice has always been fiction but over the last few years I’m finding myself draw to topics like motivation, inspiration and career help. Levo League published this great article filled with books that every woman should read at one point in her life. I’ve heard of (and read) quite a few of the books on this list but there are a few new titles that I’m looking forward to adding to my list!
